Works on Paper
Brooklyn New York

I create vibrant environments through rich color, rhythmic brushwork,
translucencies, shifting planes and patterned mark making.  My imagery includes
iconically portrayed birds, plantlife and symbolic forms.

Each work engages and draws the viewer into a densely woven, colorful
and rhythmic environment.  My painted environments are often described
as dreamlike, otherworldly or contemplative, although many are as
vividly colored and energetic as a bright, clear day.

I work on 30” x 42” sheets of Rives BFK 100 pound moulded cotton paper.
I work in acrylic, but very often incorporate drawn elements with pencil, crayon, oilstick or pastel.
